The newest synth-driven anthem from Echo Beach follows on from their amazing debut, ‘Sea of Glass’. This track, ‘Am I Dreaming?’, instantly teleports you to a dream-like state thanks to those washy synth sounds and the thumping of a Kate Bush-esque drum kit in the distance. Vocalist Hanson’s gritty lead vocal is the perfect way to complement the warmth of the accompaniment, while the strings that enter during the chorus take the track to new cinematic heights. “During lockdown I was having some pretty crazy dreams, that didn’t exactly make a lot of sense but at the time everything seemed really intense, and I wanted to capture that in a song...” explains Hanson.
